As a Security Professional - Plant Patrol in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol an engaging food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a positive environment for everyone onsite. You will conduct visible patrols, monitor assigned areas, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. By working collaboratively with your team and embracing innovation, you will help maintain a secure atmosphere while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure in high-pressure environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the facility to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed logs and write reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate important information to supervisors, team members, and/or local authorities as needed for security-related matters.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while performing assigned duties at the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
