Security Officer Chocolate Plant Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas, noting conditions that could impact operations at the food and beverage location.
- Monitor access points, check visitor and/or delivery activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry or restricted area access.
- Support facility operations by communicating with staff and visitors, documenting security-related observations, and following post instructions for alarms, disturbances, and/or medical events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
