As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to:

Customer Service Experience (B219)

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
- Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes:
- Familiarity with security protocols and procedures
- Experience in issuing and managing access badges for employees and visitors
- Understanding of compliance and safety regulations related to access control
- Previous experience in a security or facilities management role is preferred.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, check credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Complete detailed reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs to document incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
