Security Officer Access Control Agent

As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in High Point, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitor and vehicle activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Prepare clear reports on daily activity, access exceptions, incidents, and policy-related concerns, and report unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
