Security Officer - Transportation Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Transportation Site Patrol in High Point, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment within a transportation-focused location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. You will be counted on to respond quickly and professionally to any security-related concerns that may arise, always maintaining clear and courteous communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other disruptive behaviors within the transportation environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document observations and security-related incidents according to company and site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
