Pre-employment Requirements:
21+ Years of Age (C101)
3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree (C107)
Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Support emergency and operational response efforts by maintaining awareness of surroundings, following use of force guidelines, and coordinating with law enforcement and/or first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
