As a Security Officer Patrol in Hilo, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Pre-Employment Requirement: Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service within a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and observe facility activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor direction, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Document incidents, patrol observations, and/or notable activity in a clear and timely manner, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
- Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
