As a AirportSecurity Professional - Unarmed in Hilo, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as required, and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities as required by Allied Universal.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
