Security Officer Mobile Patrol Access Job in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Access in Hilton Head Island, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site contacts, guests, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
