Security Officer Armed Driver for Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Driver for Patrol in Hoffman, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first.

- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit activity in accordance with post orders and government site requirements.
- Support incident reporting, assist with investigations related to security-related concerns, and maintain awareness of surroundings, equipment, and/or unusual conditions while on duty.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
