Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver CPO in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post, offering the opportunity to work with agility, reliability, and innovation while putting people first, delivering through teamwork, and acting with integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, entrances, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as assigned.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior at the location.
- Monitor access activity and support residential property rules by observing for unusual conditions, assisting with inquiries, and communicating security-related information to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess a CPO certification.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
- Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
