Security Officer Entrance Control

As a Security Officer Entrance Control in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this Access Control role, you will support a welcoming environment for residents and guests, working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and always acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access procedures and other security-related policies at a residential location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization, and document activity in accordance with community guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, property concerns, and other security-related issues.
- Communicate clearly with residents, management, and team members regarding access requests, policy questions, and incident-related information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
