As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Holtsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout classrooms, hallways, parking areas, athletic grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing visitors according to location procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
