Airport Security Officer: Full-Time (Wed-Sun) Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As an Airport Security Officer: Full-Time (Wed-Sun) in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic government airport location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. Bring strong communication skills and integrity to a caring, agile team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork.

Requirements:
1+ years airport experience.
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 18+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces; verify credentials and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency services, and/or other designated personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to incidents, patrols, access control activity, and customer service interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
