As a Security Officer Deterrence Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a premier retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring, people-first approach. You will support daily operations through teamwork, clear communication, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a luxury retail location.
- Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, stockroom access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, observe customer and employee activity for policy compliance, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or maintenance concerns according to site guidelines.
- Support closing and opening procedures, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor interactions in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
