As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and access control policies at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, managing visitor sign-in procedures, issuing temporary access credentials, and maintaining accurate access records.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Observe entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the property perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
