Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification Driver Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification Driver in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and guests. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, agile team that delivers with integrity and teamwork.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-control records.
- Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Support emergency response activities in accordance with site procedures, including directing occupants and visitors during evacuations or other critical situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
