Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by assigned area.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and communicate observations through appropriate channels.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to designated personnel.
- Support emergency response activities and provide clear directions or assistance to campus occupants and first responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
