Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a vital utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate activity logs and incident reports.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment around critical utility infrastructure by reporting observed conditions requiring attention to appropriate site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
