Security Officer Patrol Watch

As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring reliability, agility, and integrity to each shift while working as part of a team that values caring service and innovative thinking.

- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations for security-related concerns, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and after-hours observations while maintaining a professional presence and supporting hotel operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
