Security Officer Protective Patrol

As a Security Officer Protective Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity while bringing an agile, people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, disturbances, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence and strong communication with hotel personnel.
- Support incident response by assisting with crowd management, directional guidance, and/or evacuation-related procedures during alarms, medical events, weather issues, or other urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
