As a Security Officer Reception Security Clearance in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing front desk access activities, and supporting security-related protocols for a technology-focused location.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain front desk logs, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and following site-specific emergency response activities.
- Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and help to support a professional front desk presence while following post orders and client location policies.
- Complete routine reports, document visitor interactions and/or incident details, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
