Security Professional - Afternoon Airport Patrol

As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with staff, visitors, and other personnel encountered during patrols.
• Support the enforcement of access control procedures in alignment with site-specific guidelines.
• Assist in monitoring for suspicious activity and reporting findings to appropriate personnel.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
