Transportation Security Guard: Full Time Visibility Patrol Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As a Transportation Security Guard: Full Time Visibility Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity. Requirements:
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, airport personnel, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, unsecured areas, hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating professionally with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
