Transportation Security Officer: Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Reporting Job in Honolulu, Hawaii

As a TransportationSecurity Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Reporting in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers, visitors, and staff with professionalism. You will use communication skills and technology to report observations and support site operations. Requirements:
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other airport stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminal areas, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
