Security Officer Patrol Driver Part Time

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting and reporting conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document deliveries, visitor activity, and/or other security-related events in accordance with site policies.
- Support a clean and professional presence at a busy food and beverage location by observing operations, reporting concerns, and helping to follow established post orders and incident reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
