Security Officer Access Patrol

- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a technology-focused environment.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with visitor and delivery processing, and support badge or credential verification in accordance with location protocols.
- Communicate with site contacts, employees, guests, and/or first responders as needed to support orderly operations and timely response to security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
