As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will interact with a variety of people, assist with access control, and use technology to support your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or unauthorized access within the location to help to deter potential issues.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors as required.
• Document and report any observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
