As a Security Guard - Medical Center Patrol in Hopkins, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional service through strong communication and support. This dynamic role is ideal for those who are agile, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team dedicated to putting people first and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following all emergency response protocols as appropriate to the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, checking identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities observed during patrols or while on duty.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and Allied Universal management to support a secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
