As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support orderly communication with site personnel and visitors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, including screening visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries as directed.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or hazard-related concerns, and report them promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
