As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests as needed.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
