Security Officer Armed Driver Customer Service Patrol Job in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Customer Service Patrol in Hot Springs National Park, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to serve with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location with technology, media, and telecommunications operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials where required, and document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
