Security Officer Armed Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Perimeter Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post that calls for professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset in every interaction.

- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help observe access activity, support loss prevention efforts, and report policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support retail location operations by assisting with de-escalation, following post orders, and maintaining a visible presence to help discourage disruptive conduct and/or unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
