Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Specialist

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Specialist in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support customers, guests, and staff through clear communication and responsive service. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work with integrity, and contribute through teamwork each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and customer or staff assistance needs.
- Support loss prevention efforts by reporting suspicious behavior, following post orders, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or site leadership when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
