Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Coordinator Job in Houston, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Coordinator in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, managing entry procedures, and supporting security-related operations. Your strong communication and customer service skills will help create a positive experience for employees, drivers, and guests. What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional front desk presence and customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and departure records in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Receive and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries to appropriate personnel while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Maintain awareness of front entrance activity and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
