Security Officer Patrol Driving Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Specialist in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, provide outstanding customer service and communication, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values to every interaction through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity in accordance with post orders and client procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, maintenance issues, and policy violations, and relay relevant information to supervisors and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
