As a Security Officer - Unarmed CRE Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a professional presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and supporting access control and alarm panel functions. You will interact with building occupants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry to restricted areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance needs, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
• Collaborate with property management and tenants to address security-related inquiries and support a professional atmosphere within the location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activity logs as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
