Security Officer Badge Verification

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Humble, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and attentive service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, process visitor access, and report unusual or unauthorized activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, document observations, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, noting conditions that could help to deter unauthorized access or disruption to operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
