As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere at a dynamic retail or mall location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to security-related situations as they arise. This is a primarily driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle, adhering to all company driving policies. In addition to your patrol duties, you will provide outstanding customer service, communicating professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to address their concerns and foster a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both the interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter disturbances within the location, especially during peak hours or special events.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, patrol activities, and other relevant observations as required by site procedures.
• Provide directions and general assistance to visitors, tenants, and/or employees as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that primarily involve driving and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or applicable license is preferred for this position.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
