As a Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance Required Unarmed Roving Patrol in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor and access-control documentation in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive site information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
