As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen visitors and/or vehicles, and support daily operations with professionalism and strong communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen persons, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized entry, document activity, and report concerns involving loss prevention or other security-related matters.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
