Security Officer Screening Coordinator
As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening-related activity, unusual conditions, and/or incidents in a clear and timely manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and following site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
