As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, and performing screening duties such as X-ray and badge checks. What You'll Do:

• Carry out screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and guiding them through security-related protocols as required by the site.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including activating emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• X Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
