Security Officer - Front Desk

As a Security Officer Desk Operations in INDIANAPOLIS, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prestigious financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors. In this stationary role, you will help support access management, visitor processing, and professional communication while delivering outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, assist with visitor check-in and/or access control processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and clear communication.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
- Answer questions, provide directions, receive deliveries, and support day-to-day front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures and client service expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
