As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Reception in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a front desk professional at a financial institution, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering exceptional service and clear communication. This driving post requires compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, and issuing authorized visitor credentials.
- Answer and route telephone calls, provide approved directions and information, and maintain a professional front desk presence.
- Monitor access control and alarm systems, document unusual activity, and promptly report security-related concerns according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
