As a GSOC Operator, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, under guidance of GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens. The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

Hiring for a GSOC Operator – Unarmed

4+Years Experience is required/preferred for this role.

  • Pay-rate is $29.87 per hour. Part Time 24 Hours / Swing Shift 1400-2200 Hour / Friday & Saturday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the start-to-end process for granting physical access to client campuses. Includes interfacing with client associates via phone and email, granting and removing access within the client access control database, and troubleshooting access problems presented by the client.
  • Proactively monitor physical access and video surveillance alarms within the respective systems and be able to execute appropriate response protocols in accordance with approved operation procedures
  • Monitor and report after hours facilities power outages to the client
  • Monitor and respond to facilities 911 and duress alerts in accordance with client operating procedures
  • Support internal investigations when requested by producing supporting access and video evidence
  • Reviewing of all incident reports for all 12 campuses.
  • Assist client in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for all locations.
  • Ability to operate within a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens and utilizing a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources such as open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools
  • Detect, analyze, and alert of critical incidents, which may impact the campuses – these may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures
  • Monitor phone and email communications from client associates/students reporting suspicious activities
  • Provide excellent customer service to associates by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Create, disseminate, and archive all “BOLO - Be on the Lookout” approved by client
  • Ability to respond in a calm, organized, and professional manner.
  • Serve as the communication hub for all campuses.
  • Provide support and participate in crisis mitigation (IMT)

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
  • Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as needed
  • Assist company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety and security
  • Monitor travel safety and security of company’s employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five (5) years of verifiable experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
