What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related protocols for an office location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor information, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain visitor logs and front desk records.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
- Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
- Observe cameras, alarms, and other building systems from the front desk, report maintenance and/or security-related concerns, and document daily activities and notable events.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
