As a Security Officer Mall Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants. You will combine strong communication, customer service, and mobile patrol responsibilities while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with directions and general questions, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support a professional presence throughout the property by communicating with management and/or local first responders when needed and following post orders for assigned areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
