Security Officer Patrol Driver Job in Irvine, California

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, report security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential apartment community.
- Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; document incidents, unusual activity, and patrol findings.
- Assist with access control, parking-related concerns, and after-hours calls while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
