Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, supporting coverage across the property while responding to routine concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and/or access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe for unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Support access control, visitor interactions, and/or policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
